Mountain Telephone SMS Terms & Conditions

 

By opting into Mountain Telephone’s text messaging service, you agree to the following terms and conditions:

 

1. Program Description

 

Mountain Telephone may send recurring automated promotional and transactional text messages (e.g., billing reminders, service outages, appointment updates, and account alerts). Enrollment in text alerts is not a requirement to purchase any goods or services.

 

2. Message Frequency

 

Message frequency varies based on your account activity and the specific programs you joined. You may receive multiple messages per month depending on your service needs.

 

3. Cost and Carriers

 

Message and data rates may apply. Mountain Telephone does not charge for receiving text messages, but your mobile carrier's standard rates for headers and data still apply. We are not responsible for any delays in the receipt of any SMS messages, as delivery is subject to effective transmission from your network operator.

 

4. How to Opt-Out

 

You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Just text STOP to our short code or the number from which you received the message. After you send the SMS message STOP to us, we will send you an SMS message to confirm that you have been unsubscribed. After this, you will no longer receive SMS messages from us.Note: If you want to join again, just sign up as you did the first time and we will start sending SMS messages to you again.

6. Privacy Policy
